About the team

Concorde Systems is building the intelligence infrastructure for Indonesian industry, starting with a Computerized Maintenance Management System that helps industrial teams manage assets and heavy machinery, prevent downtime, and run maintenance operations end to end. We are currently running a live enterprise pilot at a national plant.

The system you would work on is Concorde Station, our multi-tenant CMMS: organizations use it to track physical assets, run work orders and procedures, manage parts inventory, and report on maintenance. Our first paying client is being onboarded this quarter.

About the role

This is a part-time contract, 20 hours per week from September through December 2026, with the scope fixed before you start. The domain model is strong: a polymorphic audit-event table, an atomic parts ledger, a working forms state machine, and seventeen live domains. The system itself, however, is still a prototype: there is no test suite, no CI, and no deployment pipeline yet. This contract exists to change that.

To set expectations, the role is not: ownership of the full roadmap, a rewrite (the architecture is sound and stays), a move to microservices, Kubernetes, or an event bus, or a frontend rebuild (the design system is complete).

The stack is Go 1.25 with chi v5, pgx v5, and sqlc on PostgreSQL 16 at Supabase. There is no ORM and there will not be one: SQL is written by hand and compiled to type-safe Go. The frontend is Next.js 14, TypeScript, and Tailwind. CI/CD from scratch and Supabase operations can be learned on the go.

What you'll do

  • Write the detailed specs together with us before you start
  • Stand up the first CI pipeline and the first real test suite for the API
  • Containerize the service and get a working staging-to-production deploy process running
  • Wire up the RBAC checks that are already fully modeled in the database but enforced nowhere in code

What we're looking for

  • Available and willing to work from September through December 2026 (contract)
  • Real experience writing Go, including at least one HTTP service you personally deployed
  • Comfortable with raw SQL
  • Willing to set up a CI pipeline and a deployment process from scratch
  • Able to read and reason carefully about authorization logic; carefulness matters more than years of experience
  • Enough TypeScript to write a Next.js Server Action against an existing design system; no design work is involved

Bonus points

  • A computer science or electrical engineering background
  • Exposure to Supabase
  • Anything you have shipped and kept alive past the demo

Compensation

This is a paid part-time position: Rp 7.200.000 per month for 20 hours per week.

Beyond the rate: access to premium AI coding tools (Claude), a real, live production system to point to afterward, the opportunity to grow this into a long-term partnership, an official certificate or letter of recommendation, hands-on experience building a real tech startup, access to startup networks, communities, and industry practitioners, and flexible onsite workspace access in Bandung, remote friendly.

How we hire

We never ask for your KTP, KTM, or any identity document to apply, and we never ask for payment at any stage.

  1. Application review. Send your CV as a PDF and include links to anything you have shipped. Every application is read.
  2. Introductory call, 30 minutes. Your background, along with an honest walkthrough of the codebase and the gap you would be closing.
  3. Technical conversation with the founder. Practical, built around the checklist: authorization logic, raw SQL, and how you would set up CI for a system that has none.
  4. Offer and start. The specs are written together before day one.

(CCS® 15)BEFORE YOU APPLY

The details people usually ask about

How long does hiring take?

Roughly two weeks from first call to decision. Every stage is described on the role's own page, so you know what is coming before you start.

What should I send?

A CV as PDF, under 10 MB. A portfolio, a GitHub, or a short note about something you have built or organised helps more than a cover letter. Applications go through the form on the role page; anything you send by email is logged into the same system, under the same notice below.

Do you sponsor relocation?

For senior roles we discuss relocation to Bandung case by case. Ask early. It is easier to plan at the first call than at the offer.

Do you hire fully remote?

For some engineering roles, yes. Deployment and research roles need regular time on site, because the work is physically at the plant.

What happens to my data?

Applications go to our hiring inbox and are kept only for recruitment. Ask us to delete yours at any point and we will.

(CCS® 16)NOTICES

By submitting this form you confirm the information you have given is accurate, and you consent to Concorde Systems processing it for recruitment as described below.

Equal opportunity

Concorde Systems hires on the merits of the work. We do not discriminate on the basis of religion, ethnicity, race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability, or any other status protected by applicable Indonesian law. If you need an adjustment at any stage of the process, whether that is a different interview format, more time, an accessible location, tell us and we will arrange it. Asking for one is never held against you.

How we handle your application

We collect what you send us on this form: your name, contact details, the files you upload, the links you provide, and anything you write in the free-text fields. It is stored by our form provider and mirrored to a private hiring spreadsheet. Only people involved in hiring for the role you applied to can see it. We keep applications for up to 12 months so we can contact you if a suitable role opens, then delete them. You can ask us to correct or delete your application at any point, including before a decision, by writing to business@concordesystems.com, and we will action it and confirm in writing. We do not sell your data, we do not use it to train models, and we do not share it outside Concorde Systems except where the law requires it.

Beware of recruitment scams

People do impersonate companies to defraud job seekers, and we would rather you were suspicious than sorry. Concorde Systems will never ask you for payment, a deposit, bank or card details, or copies of identity documents in order to apply, interview, or be considered. We will never ask you to buy equipment or software upfront. Every genuine message from us comes from an @concordesystems.com address, so check the domain carefully, because lookalike spellings are the usual trick. We do not conduct interviews or make offers purely over chat applications. If a message claiming to be from us asks for any of the above, or simply feels wrong, do not reply to it: forward it to business@concordesystems.com and we will confirm whether it came from us.
