About the team

Concorde Systems is building the intelligence infrastructure for Indonesian industry, starting with a Computerized Maintenance Management System that helps industrial teams manage assets and heavy machinery, prevent downtime, and run maintenance operations end to end. We are currently running a live enterprise pilot at a national plant.

You would be our first finance hire, sitting with the Startup Team rather than inside a finance department, because there isn't one yet. The Startup Team is the three founders and the core team building Concorde; there is no layer between you and them. That means you build the process rather than inherit someone else's, and your reporting goes directly to them.

About the role

We are an engineering-heavy team running a live enterprise pilot. The money that funds it, from a government research grant to our backers and vendor contracts, currently runs through the same people who build the product. Your job is to take that over and make it legible: budgets that survive revision, documentation an auditor could follow, and reporting our funders actually read.

The work is administrative in nature and already runs day to day; what it lacks is a formalized system, and you will be the one to shape it into one. It is the applied version of what a Corporate Finance or Financial Management course covers in theory, carried out at a company with a live pilot rather than on a case study.

Concretely, the early months are grant administration: revising a budget against the funder's guidelines, keeping vendor documentation and invoices in order, and producing accountability reports on a fixed schedule. You will not be learning that alone: the team at DKST ITB supports us on the paperwork, and you would work alongside them. It is unglamorous, and it is the reason the company can operate at all. If that is the part of finance you actually like, you will enjoy this.

The position is a contract running from September 2026 through December 2026, based in Bandung, with access to our Jakarta workspace when the work requires it.

Where this goes

This is a four-month contract because December is as far as our current funding commits, not because that is how much of the company this touches. You would be our first finance hire, and the function gets built the way you build it. If the work goes well and the funding continues, this is the seat that becomes the company's finance lead. We are not promising that in advance, and you should be sceptical of anyone who does. We are stating it as our intent because it should change who applies.

We review the engagement and the compensation in November, before the contract ends.

What you'll do

  • Administer the company's funding end to end, including a government research grant
  • Own budget revisions, disbursement tracking, and accountability reporting against the funder's guidelines
  • Act as the financial liaison with our funders and backers
  • Draft and revise budget plans and financial projections
  • Own vendor documentation and contracts
  • Manage internal administration alongside the funding work
  • Report on finances directly to the Startup Team
  • Support the administrative side of upcoming recruitment

What we're looking for

  • A background in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • Fresh graduates and final-year students are welcome to apply
  • Meticulous, and comfortable with formal documents and bureaucratic processes
  • Responsive, proactive, and able to work well within a small team
  • Fluent in English
  • Based in Bandung and available through December 2026

Bonus points

  • Experience managing investment or grant funding
  • Familiarity with Indonesian corporate and tax documentation, such as NIB and faktur
  • Strong spreadsheet proficiency

Compensation

This is a paid position at an entry-level rate. We tell you the number at the intro call rather than saving it for the offer, so you can decide early whether it works for you.

Beyond compensation, the role offers direct experience inside a live enterprise pilot, direct access to the founders, an official certificate of experience or letter of recommendation, a funding and compliance management skill set that is difficult to build elsewhere at this stage, and access to startup networks and industry practitioners, and a workspace in Bandung with access to our Jakarta workspace when the work calls for it.

How we hire

We never ask for your KTP, KTM, or any identity document to apply, and we never ask for payment at any stage. If verification of student status is needed, a KTM or transcript is requested only at the offer stage, and we will say so explicitly.

  1. Application review. Send your CV as a PDF along with a brief introduction. Every application is read.
  2. Intro call, 30 minutes. Your background, plus an honest picture of the work and how the team runs. We tell you the rate on this call.
  3. Interview with the Startup Team. Practical in nature, focused on your experience handling documents, budgets, or funds.
  4. Offer and start. The engagement starts in September 2026.

The details people usually ask about

How long does hiring take?

Roughly two weeks from first call to decision. Every stage is described on the role's own page, so you know what is coming before you start.

What should I send?

A CV as PDF, under 10 MB. A portfolio, a GitHub, or a short note about something you have built or organised helps more than a cover letter. Applications go through the form on the role page; anything you send by email is logged into the same system, under the same notice below.

Do you sponsor relocation?

For senior roles we discuss relocation to Bandung case by case. Ask early. It is easier to plan at the first call than at the offer.

Do you hire fully remote?

For some engineering roles, yes. Deployment and research roles need regular time on site, because the work is physically at the plant.

What happens to my data?

Applications go to our hiring inbox and are kept only for recruitment. Ask us to delete yours at any point and we will.

(CCS® 16)NOTICES

By submitting this form you confirm the information you have given is accurate, and you consent to Concorde Systems processing it for recruitment as described below.

Equal opportunity

Concorde Systems hires on the merits of the work. We do not discriminate on the basis of religion, ethnicity, race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability, or any other status protected by applicable Indonesian law. If you need an adjustment at any stage of the process, whether that is a different interview format, more time, an accessible location, tell us and we will arrange it. Asking for one is never held against you.

How we handle your application

We collect what you send us on this form: your name, contact details, the files you upload, the links you provide, and anything you write in the free-text fields. It is stored by our form provider and mirrored to a private hiring spreadsheet. Only people involved in hiring for the role you applied to can see it. We keep applications for up to 12 months so we can contact you if a suitable role opens, then delete them. You can ask us to correct or delete your application at any point, including before a decision, by writing to business@concordesystems.com, and we will action it and confirm in writing. We do not sell your data, we do not use it to train models, and we do not share it outside Concorde Systems except where the law requires it.

Beware of recruitment scams

People do impersonate companies to defraud job seekers, and we would rather you were suspicious than sorry. Concorde Systems will never ask you for payment, a deposit, bank or card details, or copies of identity documents in order to apply, interview, or be considered. We will never ask you to buy equipment or software upfront. Every genuine message from us comes from an @concordesystems.com address, so check the domain carefully, because lookalike spellings are the usual trick. We do not conduct interviews or make offers purely over chat applications. If a message claiming to be from us asks for any of the above, or simply feels wrong, do not reply to it: forward it to business@concordesystems.com and we will confirm whether it came from us.
